  • POT Gardens 3228 West Jefferson Boulevard Los Angeles, CA, 90018 United States (map)

Khmer Ceramics is a workshop that celebrates the preservation of Cambodian culture & ceramics.

My practice is dedicated to revitalizing traditional Khmer ceramics which is vital to the continuation of culture & form of resistance to the Cambodian genocide. I studied under 1 of 2 Cambodian ceramic masters who survived the genocide & am passing this knowledge on to all who want to learn.

You’ll learn how to design, transfer, carve, & relief traditional designs on clay. You’ll craft up to 3 pieces using traditional techniques.

No experience needed. All materials provided.

For ages 12+. Ages 12-16 to sign up with a guardian.

Limited scholarships available for members of the Cambodian community. Please apply here to request.
